Poor little thing woke up Thursday morning with her eye matted shut. I took her to the doctor and she has pink eye with an infection in her eyelid. Loaded her up with eye medication and antibiotics. It looks so much better now – you can hardly tell. She’s had a rough few days though so I haven’t gotten any new pictures. I’m lucky she let me take this one. I’ll get more soon. Oh and when I took her to the doctor they weighed her – 14 lbs 9 oz – can you believe it! She’s even wearing 6m clothes – the 3-6m are even too short! They didn’t measure her though which I was hoping for that too but she goes back for her 4m check up next month. She’s going to be 4 months old 1 week from today! She is growing up so fast.
And talk about high maintenance! Don’t even get me going there. She’s certainly going to be the drama queen – I can see it now.
Oh yucko-I don’t miss those pink eye days! Seemed like the boys would bring it home from preschool and then we would all end up with it. The pediatrician had a unique cure for it. Breast milk. Yep, even Rick had to have it put in his eyes!
Awww poor thing. Glad to hear shes feeling better. Hope doesnt catch it. My mother in law had told me about putting canned milk in Rays eyes when he was a baby.
