As you can see Tyler got his school pictures back. He picked out his top and wanted me to spike his hair (although it was a bit long at the time). I thought he looked pretty cute except that he didn’t really smile. All in all I’m happy with them – they could’ve been worse. His top has a guitar on it and says “rock on” – it was cute. I have a picture here that I took from home before school with a better smile
We had Kaylie’s first birthday party on Saturday night so her daddy could be a part of it. He won’t be home from work until Thursday evening so he was quite bummed. I think having the party early cheered him up. Although he’s not in any of the pictures – he was taking them. You can find them here or in the link at the side titled ‘pictures’. Got some pretty good pictures. I was very happy. Kaylie seemed to have a blast too. Once she figured out the cake was yummy she dove right in. And she enjoyed her gifts too. I think Tyler may of had more fun with some of them.
For Halloween (and Kaylie’s birthday) I am going to take them to the mall to go trick or treating. I still have to get Kaylie a costume – I know very last minute of me but I couldn’t decide whether to dress her up or what to dress her as. I will find one tomorrow that is for sure. I’ll probably keep it simple. Tyler was going to go as Robin from Teen Titans (his costume from last year) since he didn’t get to wear it for very long but now he’s saying he wants something else. Arrghh -kids! So we will see. I’m taking the day off to volunteer in his class and they are going to make carmel apples. That should be fun. I’m looking forward to it. Let’s hope I remember my memory card for my camera. I’m so mad at myself. We all went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday and I remembered my camera just forgot my memory card. Luckily we went with Melissa and her family and she took a few for me before her camera battery died. I will post those pictures as soon as she sends them to me.

Thanks for letting me know that – not sure how that happened. The pictures link should be working now. We didn’t have really have a ‘party’ for Kaylie just the 6 of us and had a little cake and took pictures. I didn’t want to overwhelm her on her 1st birthday like I did Tyler. But I know you would’ve been there – thanks
That is funny, I tried the link real early yesterday and I saw the pics! Tyler’s school pic is cute but he sure smiles better for mom!
