To Typepad or Not To Typepad..

that is the question I keep asking myself. I have a few friends that have joined and really like it but I’m still debating. I used to say I’d never pay for a blog when there are so many free ones out there but I keep reading about all the cool things Typepad has. I like that you can customize it a lot more than these free ones and you get a bunch of space. I just don’t know if I’m ready to pay for it yet. I have a hard enough time keeping a free one up to date. Although maybe that would be the motivation I need if I were paying for it? See my dilemma? Decisions, decisions, decisions. Oh well, I’ll probably end up moving over there eventually. It will just take me some time.

Right now I don’t feel like doing much of anything lately. Largely due to the fact that I’m getting over a terrible cold. Well I hope I’m getting over it anyway. Still feel kind of icky. I’ve been waiting for this weekend for the crop over at SO and now I still don’t feel like scrapping. One of those catch 22’s. I hate that. I haven’t even been over to the boards to check out what’s going on. Believe it or not, besides work, this is the most I’ve been on the computer since I got sick. Which isn’t normal for me. I’m hoping maybe once the kids are in bed tonight I might feel a little more like scrapping. I have a layout I started before I got sick and I really want to finish it. Plus I want to see what challenges I might be able to do for the crop. At least it’s not over until tomorrow. I still have a chance.

Other than being sick and not scrapping not much going on. I’m bummed because my friend Melissa is moving to Rhode Island for a year next Saturday. Her husband got offered a promotion if he takes a position out there for a year. It’s good for them, bad for me. It’s not like we hang out all the time but it was nice to have the option. They are about the only ‘couple’ friends Pete and I have. It’s sad but true. Well not sad that they are our friends, of course, but sad that they are the only ones we have as a couple. We really need to get out more.

Our 7 year anniversary is Monday. Can’t believe we’ve made it this long. I wonder sometimes. I think we are going to go out next weekend to celebrate. We were going to this weekend but with me still getting over whatever this is that I have, I don’t really feel much like going out. Other than dinner, not sure of our plans. We talked about going to Ikea since we have yet to go there but I’m not sure.  I hear it’s a real neat place though. I’ll probably want something I don’t need. That’s always the case though, isn’t it?

Ok I’m off to check out the SO cyber crop and see if I can find my mojo.
